Who We Are |
|
Since 2004 SDF (Sun Development Foundation) has been assisting people to acquire marketable skills (Repairer for: Mobile Phones, Generators, UPS, CNG, Garment machine operator, Beautician, Hand/machine embroidery etc.)
Presently with the assistance of the donors SDF has established at J&M clothing a training centre for garment stitching operators.
Every month 30 to 40 females are inducted as trainees to become garment stitching operators in two months.
The first month in training centre and the second in production line. During training the trainees receive a stipend of Rs. 5000/ and after training every single trainee is absorbed in the factory at Rs. 7200/month.
After six months their income is increased to an average of Rs. 10,000/month.
The 37th batch has pass out.
