In Canada there are both a Federal government and Provincial governments. The Federal government has an immigration program that is more general responding to Federal immigration needs and to meet those needs they have   Federal Skill Worker Program (FSWP). The Provincial governments have Provincial immigration programs to satisfy their needs, Quebec as one of the province in Canada has its own Skill workers immigrant program Called Quebec Skill Worker Program (QIIP).

Q. What are the eligibility criteria of Federal Skill Worker Program (FSWP)?

An applicant must be equal or above 18 years of age.

He /She must be falling in the current list of occupation stated on CIC website.

Must score the minimum points required to file application.

Language proficiency refers to the applicant skill in expressing him/her in verbal and writing in international language i.e. English, For Quebec Local Language i.e. French is mandatory, minimum IELTS score requirement for English and DELF Score for French vary applicant to applicant.
